Dakota 283 Featured in Project Upland Film ‘From Our Hearts’

Dakota 283 recently co-sponsored ‘From Our Hearts,’ a film about a dog’s perseverance set in the grouse woods

A story about what we learn from hunting dogs, our unwavering bond to them, and their place in our families, Project Upland takes us into the grouse woods with Richard Wong and his vizsla, Hunter.

After finding traces of cancer, Wong came to the hard decision to amputate one of Hunter’s front legs. Through a short recovery period, Hunter, now 13 years old, is still pointing birds for Wong.
