    The new door is great so far. Taking the old door off was awful! The nuts were all different sizes and screw heads stripped out. My crate was an old style not sure why all the nuts were different sizes!

    I bought this to replace my older pinch style door that kept malfunctioning and breaking. The fit was absolutely perfect and took about 10 minutes to install. I did spend a little extra time deburring the edges of the stamped door latch and housing, (they were a little sharp). I put a little graphite into the lock mechanism to make it work super smooth. Now I have a high-quality kennel with a new lease on life !!!

    Purchased this door as a replacement for my older model Dakota because the latch broke on the door but I couldn’t stomach ditching the rest of the kennel as it was in excellent condition. It did not initially fit the older style door frame which I expected, but with a little sanding down of the edges I was able to get it to fit perfectly! Now I have a kennel with a new improved upgraded door that opens and closes with one hand instead of the old style flimsy dog kennel door with the 2 pinch latch! Looks so much better with the new door!
