The Kennebec Jet Stream Airline Kennel is inspired by many of the original Dakota 283 products but takes into account the standards of commercial flight when traveling with a dog. The Jet Stream Kennel features a solid one-piece construction to hold up on all the adventures you and your dogs take. The addition of two large grip handles and straps to the original tough and long-lasting Kennebec makes for easy lifting, handling, and maneuvering. If your pet ever has an “accident” the plastic is easily rinsed and the small holes in the corners allow for easy drainage. There’s plenty of air circulation and thanks to the double-hinged door, access is never a problem. The walls are tough and rugged to absorb impact while the corners remain virtually impervious to crushing, cracking, and other damage.

Limitations and Warnings
The Jet Stream Airline Kennel was designed for airline travel and to meet the crate and kennel specifications of many air carriers. However, before purchasing this product and prior to each flight, it is essential to check with your air carrier to ensure that this kennel meets their current listed requirements as airlines are continually changing specifications on what is acceptable from a pet travel containment system. Many airlines will not accept your pet for travel if the crate does not meet specifications. Dakota 283 manufactures high-quality and innovative products to contain and protect your dog. We take pride in serving the vast majority of the dog population with our products. With that said, our framed door kennel products can not contain ALL dogs. We expect that there are some breeds and or pets that are beyond containment with our products. While we have had great success in kenneling aggressive dogs, we are not claiming that we can contain every dog. A good example would be a very aggressive Belgian Malinois. Dog owners know their dogs intimately and should be the person that makes the final determination regarding the use of any product or kennel. We are regularly working on additional products and upgraded designs that will give a higher degree of containment for aggressive breeds.
