    This kennel, after having it for a couple weeks, fits my lab shorthair mix perfectly. Quality is one of the best on the market. Padding inside the kennel is substantial, plenty of room for her to move around, and ventilation is very good. The door and latch are very sturdy also. I know by using this kennel, I will never need another one, Thank you Dakota 283.

    Received the Dakota 283 kennel one week after getting Moose back from the trainer and on the eve of Moose’s very first duck hunt. Booked an AirBNB. Threw the kennel on the floorboard of my backseat in the F150. Drove 135 miles. Easily carried it from the truck to the house that night and back the next morning. Amazing peace of mind in the house and in the truck knowing that Moose was secure and safe. Paired with the kennel pad the comfort was verified multiple times with the Labrador snores coming out of it. Extremely pleased with the purchase – the quality and fit are perfect.

    I own 3 larges (in various colors). I love these crates! Very easy to clean and move about with the built in handle. My personal dogs are crate trained and not rude about being in the crate, but I’ve had a few client dogs who are ridiculous and the crates have held up well to shenanigans.

    Definitely recommend as a travel crate or a heavy duty crate for safety
